Aujourd'hui je vous présente la magnifique carte "Eating at Warwick"! (mention spéciale pour ma nouvelle couette ikea)

Today, let me introduce the amazing "Eating at Warwick" card! (on my new ikea duvet)

Non en fait il s'agit de ma carte étudiante à laquelle ils ont rajouté une fonction un peu spéciale.

En fait, on met de l'argent sur notre carte étudiante (soit par internet, soit sur une borne), c'est gratuit et ça nous permet de payer dans tous les restaurants et magasins du campus. 

MAIS SURTOUT 

Ca nous donne 10% de réduction (et même parfois 20) et honnêtement, si on sors boire un verre avec des amis un jour, manger au restau un autre etc ... C'est vite pratique. Surtout que ça permet de ne pas se balader avec de l'argent le soir. 

No, actually, it's my student ID in which they had a special function. 

We can put money on our ID (either online or at the machine), it's free and we can pay with it in all the restaurant and shops on campus. 

AND MOST OF ALL

We have  10% discount (and sometime 20%): if you have a drink with friends one day, then having diner an other day, that's really useful. Especially that you don't have to carry money with you all the time. 

Le truc super cool, c'est qu'en plus en ce moment dans un des "restaurant", il y a un plat acheté = un plat offert + la réduction de la carte, j'ai mangé pour 2,5 livres ce midi avec un bon burger et des vrais frites. 

Plutôt pas mal non ? 

La carte étudiante a d'autres usages bien sur. 

Dont notamment donner accès à la bibliothèque... Ce qui fait que quand vous avez perdu votre carte, et bien, vous ne pouvez plus aller à la bibliothèque... Intelligent n'est-ce pas ?! Pareil pour récupérer des colis à la poste etc ... 

Mais le gros avantage ici, c'est que si on a perdu sa carte on peut la refaire faire GRATUITEMENT, en 5 min (je ne sais pas si ce n'est que la première fois ou pas) mais en tout cas c'est drôlement pratique!

The cool thing, is that currently, there is an offer in one of the restaurant which is 1 meal = 1 for free + the discount. I got a real hamburger and fries for 2,5 pounds at lunch. 

Pretty good no ? 

The ID card has others uses. 

Especially it gives you access to the library... Which is really stupid when you have lost your card and you can't go to the library anymore... Or grabbing your package at the post office too... 

But the good part is that if you've lost it you can have an other for free which is really useful !
